Scholarship Application Criteria and Requirements

APPLICATION SUBMISSIONS CLOSE MAY 31, 2025 (11:59pm EST)
REQUIRED CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY:
All applicants must meet the following criteria in order to be an eligible candidate:
- New to Industry (no previous experience in Business Aviation as a Corporate Flight Attendant)
- No prior Cabin Safety/Egress Training specific to Business Aviation
- 21 years of age or older
- US Citizen and reside in the US
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
All applicants are required to submit the following (4) documents:
- Essay - Your essay is required to focus on the requested content (featured below) and may be submitted as a written essay or as multimedia video essay/visual presentation.
- Resume
- Letter of Recommendation 1
- Letter of Recommendation 2
ESSAY
Please write/create your application essay to focus on the following subject matter:
"Why do you wish to become a Corporate Flight Attendant and what kind of impact do you believe this opportunity will allow you to have in business aviation?"
Written Essay - double spaced and a maximum of 500 words.
Multimedia Visual/Video Essay - Maximum length: 5:00 minutes please.
RESUME
Include your most current and up-to-date resume, which should be in .pdf format.
LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATIONS (2)
Include two Letters of Recommendations (LOR's.) Your LOR's should mention the POC CFA Scholarship program and must be written on company letterhead, dated and signed.

Resume, LOR's and Written Essay should be in PDF (preferred) or Word.doc
BE SURE TO TITLE ALL ATTACHMENTS WITH YOUR FULL NAME.
Submission should include the following FOUR documents:
- Essay (Written or Video)
- Resume
- Letter of Recommendation 1
- Letter of Recommendation 2
Please make sure you have submitted all four (4) required documents in order to be an eligible candidate for the POC Scholarship. A POC CFA Scholarship Committee member will notify you, via email, a confirmation of documents received. If the applicant does not submit all of the required documents (4) by the closing date: MAY 31, 2025 (11:59pm EST), the application will be ineligible.
SCHOLARSHIP AWARD TIMELINE
The Ranking and Notification Process by the Selection Committee
Application Submission deadline: MAY 31, 2025 | 11:59pm EST
The following times are estimates as the selection committee are all actively working CFA's and volunteers.
The top five applicants will be notified by July 10, 2025
A recorded Zoom (video required) interview will be scheduled and conducted by the POC Scholarship Selection Committee with the Top 5 candidates, taking place between July 15-July 30, 2025.
AUGUST 2025 the POC Scholarship recipient announced.
All non-awarded applicants are eligible to reapply for the POC CFA Scholarship the following year.
We have established a diverse group of POC Corporate Flight Attendants to serve as our Scholarship Selection Committee.
